yeah... I make the worlds ugliest tutorials. >_> But they get the job done. I hope.

but yeah, custom brushes in openCanvas. I only just found out it was possible by accident. Thought I would share.

I have 4.5 but it should work in earlier versions of 4. not sure about 2 and 3 and definitely not in 1. :p

Same here actually. >_> I just use the round ones. Good enough for me.
anyways, you can upgrade to 4.5 for free on their site if you already have 4.06. ^_^
Just download and it'll be ready to use without needing a new serial number. :boogie:
Hey, where do I find more oC brushes and stuff?

This site has a few brushes saved as .jpgs. You can just convert them to .bmp with oC and then make them brushes. ^_^
I tried to do this, but when I pulled up the Pen Nib Editor, I didn't have the "Import/Convert/Remove" options in the Bitmap section. Did I miss something?

Hrm, maybe you have an older version? If it's 4.06, then in the pen nib window go to image>add new from file, and browse for the one you want.
Then go to nib>add and it should work.

If you do have 4.5, though, you can make pen nibs in an older version since they use the same files. =]

If that's not the problem, then I have no idea. Sorry.
I have 4.5, but now that I think about it, it might be my OS. I don't know if oC is completely compatible with Vista yet. :(
